I'm due for my H1 visa extn as it is going to expire in Apr-2010 and my employer is going to do it anytime soon. I have heard that these days USICS is extending the H1 based on the project end date mentioned on Purchase Order, if that is the case then
[1] does it mean that we can get extn only for 6 months or so instead of 3 yrs [if your I-140 is approved]?
[2] And after six months do we again have to file for extn and pay all the fees again ?
Any help on this issue is highly appreciated.

The first one is definitely my fav, the only critique I have is it looks like the polarizer needed rotated so the darkened portion of sky would been horizontal instead angled.

My AP was approved for multiple trips. So I can use the 2 stamped AP as many times as I want. The officer told me that when I use the APs for my next trip then they are going stamp the same APs again. And that I will not need to submit anything on my next trip. It would be advisable to keep some photocopies of the AP just in case they ask for a copy.
How do you know AP is approved for multiple entries?
I thought AP in general is for multiple entries.
Is there a way to tell from your approval notice it your AP was approved for multiple times?

Maybe the definition of project managers varies by company. Most PMs I know have maybe around 6-7 years of work experience and I definitely wouldn't classify them as executives or even say that their employment is in the National Interest.
However I do know of some cases where doctors have got NIW based on practicing in an under-served (rural?) area.
Is there a way to prove that one who created a suite of applications without which a business unit will stop functioning comes under National Interest?
Just a thought.

If you have w-2's you just need to fill 1040NR-EZ and send it back to the requesting officer. I don't understand what is the problem in fill a form and signing it and sending in the copies of it... what difference does it make if it was filled in 1999 or 2008 as it will be the same thing.... if they have a problem ask them to verify it with IRS which I am sure they will not able to do as there is no way so they have to accept what you submit... just my $0.02.. ask your attorney about this...

I basically get a 0 1 visa to work for a first employer. Then I get another job offer and leaved the first employer who revoked my initial visa.
The new employer was supposed to apply for a new visa for me but he never did it. He get debts problems and laid off half of the company including me.
My only visa has really been revoked so I really overstayed 7 months.
Today I got another job offer with a new sponsorship so I saw several attorneys and some of them said nothing was possible to do and some said it was maybe possible to fix the overstay.
Today I have to take a decision, go thought this new job offer and take the risk to never get the visa and then the job - or forget about it, leave the US right now and think about the USA in 3 years.
Please help me - what do you think I should do? Is it really impossible to get an overstay waiver with a new petitioner?

I also had submitted with my I-94 attached. I forgot to remove it. It was stapled and I got it back with my old passport. So dont worry.

I had to start the entire process again. The most frustrating part for me was the department of labor had assisted my employer with the advert and the alteration they made to the advert was the thing that screwed me in the end.
By virtue of the PERM system now you are really not going to lose all that much on your priority date and you could have another I140 filed before any appeal is even dealt with.

I believe people who suggest that they follow career before GC are right to an extent. But to me the you have to chose..losing freedom to chose ur employer vs losing one career oppoertunity ...If u have GC you can chose from other opportunities and surely there will be plenty..Especially u r close to GC, it might be worth the risk and wait to get GC..even if u get an EAD , it will make life simple for ur wife and urself as she can get a job in any place and any employer and u will have the same option...Nothing beats freedom...
It seems odd that the BIG consulting company wants to use EB3 to tie u for long time as they know the advantage for themselves..Ironical ..rules to protect americans end up hurting them because companies love H1Bs as they can use them as they want...

If every EB3 is ported to EB2 then EB2 will retrogress to 2001 and EB3 will become current.

Also, keep in mind that CIS has said they are coming out with a regulation on AC21 sometime soon. There is no telling how favorable that will be.

I wish everyone gets to file 485 irrespective of priority dates and ultimately get their green cards. The quality sucks (I have a Motorola V710 w/1MP camera - it is at best slightly worse than the 1MP point and shoot Epson I had in 1997) and has less than zero low light capability... but I carry my phone everywhere.... int he upper right of my blog (http://threefourfive.com) is a secion called moblog that has the latest photo I've sent to my blog - you can click on that and get to a gallery of all the photos I've sent to it (videos too)... it's only 8 clicks to send a photo and have it auto posted to my blog... nice for super quick snapshots of my kid or something for my mom to see.
